Smart Batch Lumber Edge Gluer
Presses are designed to produce a quality product, both in flatness, straightness and quality of cured glue line and designed for maximum closing speed.
These horizontal type batch presses are custom built presses built to customer's production requirements to maximize the usable RF power available. RF Generator will be sized to match the press and production requirements.
Smart means no electrical or mechanical cam circuit to control the press operation sequence. Press cycle is based on actual events, as programmed by the customer. For example, under filled press will not start cure cycle until condition is corrected.
General specifications range:
- Active electrode width = 30"-54"
- Active electrode length = 84"-240"
- Total press width opening plus 2"-4"
- New upper electrode with side pressure concept - maximum vertical stroke- 3"
- Stroke over 3" will use standard method
- Side pressure range with air at 100 PSI-4"
- Presses needing higher pressures or stock over 4", require hydraulics
- Removable electrode covers
- Hinged side covers with safety interlock switches
- Full press control at operator console
